Community Safety
The City of South Perth believes that the fear and
likelihood of crime is reduced through strengthening
communities and improving neighbourly relations. The City
supports a number of initiatives reduce the fear of crime
and increase community safety. The Community Safety &
Volunteers Officer is available to provide residents with
information and referrals on a range of safety and crime

Business owners - help
Police fight crime!
By providing details of authorised key holders’ at your
premises after hours contact and date of birth details,
you can assist police to provide a prompt after hours
response if required.

Neighbourhood
Watch
The City of South Perth supports a Neighbourhood Watch
Program (NHW) in collaboration with a strong volunteer
base and the local police. NHW groups hold regular
meetings, engage guest speakers, and produce and
distribute 18,000 newsletters on a bi monthly basis.

Free Engraving
Service
To assist the police in the identification of stolen
goods, residents may borrow an engraver for no cost to
identify their belongings. The engraver can be booked out
from the City’s two libraries, or to make an alternate
arrangement to have your goods engraved call the
