Mapping Tool (Intramaps)
Intramaps is a useful digital mapping tool that allows the City to gather information about the area for a variety of purposes.
With various layers, themes, views and modules, it is able to:
- Provide information about property addresses, wards, land contours, zoning, land area, street and lot numbers
- Show aerial photos of the properties within the City of South Perth, showing images from 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, October 2005, 2006, January 2008 and December 2009
- how information about property, suburb and ward boundaries
- Identify parks, playgrounds, highways, rights of way, roads and wetlands
- Identify heritage sites
- Supply information about Town Planning Schemes 5 and 6
- Identify community information such as bus stops, street lights, sporting clubs and churches
- Measure distances and areas, including blocks and buildings
- Give information about street trees and significant trees
- Link to the City’s Authority program
- Gather information for mail merge.
What does the City use Intramaps for?
- Processing development and compliance issues
- Assisting customers with enquiries about different areas in the City
- Identifying land for processing rate information and investigating insurance claims
- Future planning for infrastructure, environmental management, events and ranger services.
